But, earning your open water license will open adventurous travel opportunities. Today, a nationwide network of dive stores, along with an international network of resorts and dive boats, offer the newly certified diver numerous opportunities to put their skills to good use. In order to take advantage of these opportunities, you must first become a certified Scuba Diver.
With the opening of our new facility we will be bringing to Atlanta an extremely high quality diver training program. A program that offers a wide variety of classes to suit your specific needs and interests, ranging from the most basic to the highly technical and specialized diving. We specialize in small group instructions and private lessons. We attempt to schedule classes to the convenience of our students. Instruction for larger groups is planned with the same professional care, with the proper instructor-student ratios. We offer a first rate program, very comprehensive but still providing an amiable atmosphere. Aquatic Connection's Scuba training program is fully sanctioned by the Professional Diving Instructors Corp. (PDIC) and exceeds the standards of Recreational Scuba Training Council (RSTC). Our philosophy is to develop attitudes that translate into relaxed, responsible, aware and well trained divers whose decisions comply with the laws of physics and governments. We do this by maintaining an instructor staff that is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in their divers having a first class under water experience.
Diving is an Incredibly exciting experience, but in addition to fun and excitement, it is also a lot of work. Our entry level Scuba training program consists of about 32 hours of training divided into three phases: (1) Classroom theory instruction; (2) Pratical pool instruction; and (3) Open water instruction.
